Express Employment Professionals seeks a dependable, safety-driven Certified Traffic Control Flagger to support active construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining safe work zones, communicating clearly, and working as part of a team in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Compensation: $18.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Safely direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic through construction and work zones
• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices including cones, barricades, and signage
• Communicate effectively with construction crews and fellow flaggers using hand signals and radios
• Monitor traffic flow and adjust to changing site conditions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
• Maintain required daily logs and documentation

Requirements

• 1+ year of traffic control or flagging experience preferred
• Current Flagger Certification (Required)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass background and drug screening
• Reliable transportation (ability to travel to various job sites)
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift to 40+ pounds
• Comfortable working in outdoor construction environments in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work safely on active roadways and high-traffic areas
• Strong situational awareness with the ability to remain alert and focused at all times
• Dependable, punctual, safety-focused, and team-oriented
