What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
• Set up welding machines and adjust settings for proper weld penetration and quality
• Prepare materials by cleaning, fitting, and positioning parts prior to welding
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
• Grind, finish, and clean welded surfaces as required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines

Requirements

• Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to read blueprints and welding specifications
• Knowledge of welding equipment, materials, and fabrication processes
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Welding certifications are a plus but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
