$18 per hour, 1st shift, overtime available

The Role

Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components. Perform basic CNC programming, edit programs, and optimize tooling to meet specifications and improve cycle times. Work with a wide variety of parts, materials, shapes, and sizes across multiple industries.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes with tool offsets and fixture offsets
• Perform basic CNC programming and edit programs as needed
• Adjust tooling offsets to meet print specifications and improve efficiency
• Apply knowledge of speeds, feeds, depth of cuts, cutting tools, and fixtures
• Verify dimensions using micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, and inspection equipment
• Follow setup sheets, job routers, and sequence of operations
• Run multiple machines when time permits
• Collaborate with management and team to resolve machining issues
• Perform occasional manual machining
• Maintain strict adherence to safety policies

Requirements

• 5+ years CNC mill and lathe experience strongly preferred
• Proficient at setting up CNC equipment and tooling
• Basic programming skills
• Knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, and tool holders
• Ability to read blueprints and setup sheets
• Quality-oriented with strong attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime
• Team player who takes direction well
• Able to perform other duties as assigned
