Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Production Lead / Process Operator for a 2nd shift opportunity in Berkeley, MO. This position is ideal for candidates with leadership experience in a warehouse or chemical manufacturing environment who are comfortable operating process equipment, supporting plant leadership, and ensuring quality and production standards are consistently met.

As a Production Lead, you will assist the Plant Manager and Shift Operator in meeting daily production goals while maintaining a clean, safe, and quality-driven work environment. This role also serves as a backup to the Shift Operator when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate process equipment to support daily production requirements
• Assist the Plant Manager and Shift Operator to ensure production goals are achieved
• Serve as backup to the Shift Operator when absent or unavailable
• Operate sit-down forklifts to move materials and finished product
• Assist with employee training and support team development
• Help coordinate and schedule daily production requirements as needed
• Ensure all employees follow plant and customer-specific quality standards
• Process quality samples for daily QC testing requirements
• Inspect and verify order fulfillment prior to final shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support compliance with all safety and operational procedures

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience required (warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred)
• Forklift experience required (sit-down forklift experience preferred)
• Chemical warehouse or chemical manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of quality control and production standards
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and enforce compliance
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment
