Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician (Handyman / Janitorial)
Location: Pineville, LA
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week
Pay: Competitive – Based on Experience

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Facility Maintenance Technician for an elderly apartment community in Pineville, LA. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

Responsibilities:

• Complete general maintenance and repair work throughout the property

• Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner

• Perform basic plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, minor leaks)

• Minor electrical repairs (light fixtures, switches, outlets)

• Drywall repair, painting, and general carpentry

• Assist with apartment make-readies and minor renovations

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and grounds

• Trash removal and light janitorial duties

• Monitor property for safety hazards and report issues

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance, handyman, or apartment maintenance experience preferred

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks

• Ability to interact respectfully with elderly residents
