Our client, a national leader in advanced communication and response systems, is seeking a forward‑thinking Electrical Engineering Manager to oversee their Electrical Engineering Team. This role serves as the technical authority for all electrical engineering work across multiple engineering disciplines and project teams. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing people and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Electrical Engineering Team
  • Ensure delivery of high‑quality electrical engineering solutions aligned with scope, schedule, and customer expectations
  • Serve as the technical authority for electrical engineering across all engineering teams
  • Oversee electrical system design for mobile operation centers, ensuring safety, durability, and cross‑discipline integration
  • Support standards development, advanced engineering solutions, manufacturability, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with Mechanical, IT, Human Factors, and Software Engineering teams
  • Allocate engineering resources, conduct quarterly reviews, and support roadmap planning
  • Champion data‑driven decision‑making and process optimization

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related ABET‑accredited field
  • 5–10+ years of engineering leadership experience in manufacturing
  • Experience managing individual contributors or leading engineering teams
  • Automotive or trailer manufacturing experience highly preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change with a solution‑oriented mindset

Physical & Work Environment

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs
  • Professional office and indoor manufacturing environment
  • Safety glasses and closed‑toe shoes required on the production floor
  • Business‑casual attire expected
