Express Employment Professionals are looking for a Document Scanning & Management Specialist.

Short Term Project (3months)

Job Overview

Project Goal: Convert physical archives into a searchable, organized electronic filing system and manage physical file retention.

Duties and Responsibilities

Document Preparation: Sorting, organizing, and prepping old, fragile, or complex documents for scanning.
Data Entry & Indexing: Creating digital files, labeling, and indexing documents to ensure they are easily searchable.
Formatting: Formatting electronic files into PDFs or other designated formats.
Quality Control: Verifying scan quality, accuracy, and completeness.
Records Management: Physically refiling or properly archiving documents after scanning is complete.
Confidentiality: Maintaining strict confidentiality of company, legal, or mining records.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Strong Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat (PDF management), and general file management on a network.
Data Entry Proficiency: High accuracy and speed in data entry.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to create orderly filing systems for large volumes of documents.
Problem Solver: Ability to identify issues with documents, scanning equipment, or file structures and resolve them independently.
Self-Starter: Highly motivated, reliable, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Physical Ability: Must be able to manage, lift, and move bankers' boxes of documents.
