Auto Body Repair Technician

Located in Durham, NC

Salary: $19-$25/hr.

Job Summary

 

 This role focuses on repairing, restoring, and refinishing vehicle bodies and frames following damage. The ideal candidate will have experience in bodywork and cosmetic repairs and will not be responsible for engine or brake repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies, panels, and frames

• Perform body filler work, sanding, and surface preparation

• Replace damaged parts such as doors, fenders, bumpers, and trim

• Conduct dent repair and minor structural alignment

• Prepare vehicles for painting and refinishing

• Apply primers, sealers, and protective coatings as needed

• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience in auto body repair or collision repair preferred

• Knowledge of body repair tools and equipment

• Ability to perform accurate measurements and assessments

• Strong attention to detail and workmanship

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
