Electrical Installation Mechanic

 

This role is ideal for a driven, goal-oriented professional who takes pride in their work and values building strong working relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in 12V electrical systems, welding, fabrication, and mechanical repair, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform upfits and modifications on vehicles including pickup trucks, box trucks, and dump trucks

• Complete welding and fabrication projects

• Perform hydraulic system repairs and installations

• Install and repair snow plows and liftgates

• Diagnose and troubleshoot 12V electrical and mechanical systems

• Install and service aftermarket vehicle equipment

• Repair damaged truck boxes and bodies

• Conduct general equipment and vehicle maintenance

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong familiarity with shop operations and equipment

• Welding experience

• Mechanical/equipment repair experience

• Proven experience with 12V electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting

• Hydraulic system experience

• Experience working on truck bodies is a plus

• Must possess a reliable and complete set of personal tools

• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Blueprint/ schematic reading
