Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner

Express Employment is seeking qualified candidates for a Northwest Illinois company in need of an experienced Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner. This temporary role will cover a 12-week maternity leave, with potential for extension or permanent hire.

The recruiter will support high-volume hiring efforts, primarily for warehouse associates and truck drivers. Prior experience recruiting for these types of roles is required.

Position Details:

• Pay: $25–$28/hour (based on experience)
• Duration: 12-week maternity leave coverage with potential for hire
• Location: Primarily remote; onsite during the first week for onboarding/training

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for warehouse and driver positions
• Source, screen, and interview candidates
• Coordinate interviews and support hiring managers
• Maintain candidate pipelines and ensure timely communication
• Post jobs and manage applicants across recruiting platforms
• Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate ATS records

Qualifications:

• Ideally 3+ years of recruiting experience
• Required experience recruiting warehouse and truck driver roles
• LinkedIn Recruiter experience preferred
• Indeed and Workday experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Comfortable managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced setting
