Maintenance Technician – CNC Machine Shop

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines and related production equipment in a fast-paced machine shop environment. This role ensures equipment operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and support production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, and support equipment

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues

• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery as needed

• Replace and repair motors, belts, bearings, sensors, and other components

• Maintain maintenance logs and document repairs

• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

• Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing or CNC environment preferred

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

• Basic knowledge of PLC systems is a plus
