Job Title: Sanitation Technician
Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour + $2.00/hour shift differential
Openings: 6 Positions Available

Description:
We are hiring Sanitation Technicians to join our team on the 3rd shift. This role is ideal for individuals with sanitation or production experience looking to contribute to maintaining cleanliness and safety in a food production facility. You will perform deep cleaning of machinery and facility areas, ensuring all sanitation standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of equipment and production areas

• Work safely on ladders and in wet environments

• Push, pull, and carry heavy equipment and materials as required

• Monitor sanitation standards, including assessing food contact surfaces and equipment

• Remove raw and dry waste, disposing of it properly following safety guidelines

• Monitor pH levels in wastewater systems and report any variances

• Wear and maintain appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) and Maintenance teams to maintain operational efficiency

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

• Be prepared for occasional off shifts to support production schedules

• Must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends; days off may be staggered

Requirements:

• Previous sanitation experience in the food production industry preferred

• Knowledge of GMP, SOP, and food safety regulations

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Physical ability to lift and move materials as required
