Helicopter Mechanic Location: Salem, OR Pay: DOE
We are seeking an experienced Helicopter Mechanic to assist with maintenance and inspections on Air Tractor aircraft and helicopters. This role works under an IA holder and supports daily shop operations in a safety-focused environment.
Key Duties:
Perform maintenance on Air Tractor aircraft and helicopters
Disassemble and assemble airframe components
Service brakes, tires, and spray systems
Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs
Assist with shop housekeeping and yard maintenance
Operate company vehicles as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of Air Tractor airframe maintenance experience
Experience with Bell 206 L and/or Bell OH-58 helicopters preferred
Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license
Basic computer skills
Work Environment:
Outdoor work in all weather conditions
Physical role requiring lifting up to 50 lbs
