Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

 

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and personable Sales Associate to join a high-volume, patient-centered eye clinic in Daphne, Alabama. This role focuses on helping patients select eyewear, educating them on lens options, and providing an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with frame selection and eyewear purchases
• Educate patients on lenses, coatings, and eyewear options based on prescriptions and lifestyle needs
• Process sales transactions, insurance benefits, and payments accurately
• Verify optical insurance benefits and explain coverage clearly to patients
• Adjust, fit, and troubleshoot glasses for patient comfort and satisfaction
• Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing optical area
• Work closely with doctors and staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals while maintaining ethical sales practices

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Retail sales experience required; optical experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable discussing pricing, insurance benefits, and product upgrades
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical and retail environment
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and professional
