Purchasing Specialist (Hybrid) – East Metro | $65K–$78K

We’re hiring a Purchasing Specialist for a direct-hire opportunity with a growing East Metro company known for its collaborative, people-first culture. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented procurement professional who enjoys problem-solving and supplier management. No sourcing required.

 

Schedule: Hybrid (on-site 3–4 days/week)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute purchasing and procurement strategies

• Manage supplier relationships, pricing, and contract negotiations

• Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures

• Oversee purchase orders from placement through delivery

• Ensure product quality, compliance, and accurate documentation

• Collaborate with internal teams to meet operational needs

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience

• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills

• Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Business Central a plus

• Manufacturing or food packaging industry experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• $65,000–$78,000 annual salary
