Production Assistant- Aerator/Jogger

Monday- Friday Rotating Schedule

Wage: $18.00/hour

 

A printing company in the city of Vernon is looking for a Production assistant to help in their facilities. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operates Aerator/Jogger efficiently and makes sure every load is within specified quality guidelines.
2. Makes sure correct pallet is used for jobs to press or ship.
3. Measures loads to be weighed so that the weighing process is faster.
4. Performs a rub test on all jobs before Jogging.
5. Follows Shipping/Die Cutter schedule and jogs loads in order arranged.
6. Inspects and separates tagged sheets.
7. Cross train when no work is available.
8. Cleans up and keeps area clean and organized.
9. Must be able to cooperate with co-workers and supervisors and be able to work as a team.
10. Must be able to follow procedures and participate in process improvements.
11. Must demonstrate good attendance and punctuality.
12. Must be able to work overtime and weekends if needed.
13. Performs other duties as requested, such as palletizing, operating a pallet jack to move finished product, strapping, heat and shrink wrapping, packing and perform 5s.

 

Physical Requirements:

1. Physically able to perform duties.
2. Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50lbs.
3. Must be able to stand the full duration of their shift.
