Landscaping Technician needed for a local company in Ferndale! Day Shift, Long-Term Opportunity!

Salary: $22.00/hr
Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is hiring a Landscaping Technician for a local company in Ferndale. Pay:
Shift:
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 5:00 PM; fall/winter hours may shift based on daylight.
Location:
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Mow, trim, and edge lawns, ensuring uniformity and neatness.
- Plant and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation.
- Prune vegetation to promote health and visual appeal
- Apply fertilizers and chemicals safely per guidelines
- Install mulch, gravel, and other landscape materials
- Support landscape design changes and enhancements
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment
- Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and share progress updates
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of landscaping experience
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques and equipment
- Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Detail-oriented with a good eye for design
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
