Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Wholesale Sales Representative to expand our customer base and grow sales within existing accounts. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, strengthening client partnerships, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow sales within assigned territories
Identify, research, and contact prospective accounts
Generate leads and conduct outreach, including cold calling
Develop and execute sales strategies for current and potential customers
Build new relationships while maintaining strong partnerships with existing clients
Prepare and present proposals
Provide ongoing client support and follow up in a timely manner
Assist with after-hours emergency calls as needed
Additional Responsibilities:
Coordinate proposal efforts with internal teams across departments
Support warehouse operations as needed
Contribute ideas to improve departmental processes
Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients
Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
OR two to four years of sales experience in a related field
Skills & Experience:
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to learn industry-specific software
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong relationship-building and customer service abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to work toward goals independently
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
Physical & Work Requirements:
Primarily office-based role
Frequent sitting with occasional standing and walking
Light lifting may be required
Must be able to participate in regular phone communication and computer-based tasks
