Our client, a family-owned manufacturing company in Northeast San Antonio, is looking for a Production Control Specialist for a long term, evaluation-hire opportunity. Pay is $25-$33 an hour depending on experience. The company is looking for someone to become part of the family. It’s a great opportunity to join a close-knit community. Duties for the Production Control Specialist position include:

• Monitor, manage, and control company manufacturing and production software to ensure production schedule is met
• Manage the status of Sales Orders and Work Order operations to ensure production schedule is maintained.
• Investigate production control problems, assist quality in analyzing root causes, and provide possible solutions.
• Plan and monitor material movement in the production cycle to ensure continuous operations.
• Coordinate with inventory management to avoid shortages and excesses.
• Review change orders and execute them appropriately.

Requirements for the Production Control Specialist position are:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, 3-4 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Analyze current Sales Orders and accordingly develop production plan and schedules.
• Monitor execution of job orders and adjust production schedule for timely delivery.
• Production Planning, strategic planning, attention to detail
• Experience with Acumatica ERP, Manufacturing, logistics and supply chain management a plus.
• Ensure production personnel follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Analyze production processes and make necessary changes to improve production.
• Analyze customer orders and establish production schedules for timely delivery.

This is a long term, evaluation hire opportunity. Hours for the Production Control Specialist position are 7am to 6pm Monday through Thursday. Pay is $25-$33 an hour depending on experience.
