Facility Maintenance

Located in Gaffney, SC

Express is partnering with an established client that has locations in both Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties.  They have a need for a Facility Maintenance Associate to work 32 hours between both locations.  

Essential Job Functions:

· Conduct daily visual audits of the entire complex, lock checks, and space audits.
· Assist in the overlocking and unlocking of delinquent/recently current units.
· Maintain vacant units in clean, rentable condition at all times and maintain the cleanliness of the overall property.
· Perform property maintenance both inside the facility and on the grounds, including, but not limited to, sweeping, changing light bulbs, painting, cutting grass, trimming trees,   cleaning drains, and removing debris in storage units.
· Maintain equipment – complete preventive maintenance as needed and ensure equipment is secure and inventoried.
· Actively participate in construction projects as they arise.
· Coordinate auctions with Operations Manager on an as-needed basis.
· Regular on-time attendance.

Physical Demands:
Nature of work requires an ability to effectively communicate and exchange information; collect, compile, and prepare work documents; and operate hand and powered tools. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, to climb up and down ladders, walk on uneven surfaces, and maneuver around physical obstructions while performing various maintenance and inspection duties.

Working Conditions:
Work performed in outside weather conditions and on a self-storage/warehouse facility. May require extended hours during peak periods. Exposure to adverse weather conditions. Travel to various facilities within the area.

Schedule:

 32 hours per week, you will be doing facility maintenance and will drive a company vehicle from Gaffney to Spartanburg. 

Pay: $18- $22 per hour, depending on facilities maintenance experience and knowledge
