Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and versatile Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing preventative and corrective maintenance across plant equipment, including welding, electrical work, and general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly hands-on, safety-conscious, and able to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently to ensure smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and structural welding as needed for equipment repair or fabrication.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including motors, sensors, control panels, and wiring.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and plant equipment.
Handle general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
Assist in installation, modification, and upgrading of plant equipment.
Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and implement timely solutions.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.
Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience in plant maintenance, welding, and electrical work.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various plant environments.
Welding certifications preferred.
Electrical or technical certifications a plus.
