We are currently hiring for a PART-TIME LAB TECHNICIAN (approximately 25-30 hours per week). This position is temp to perm and full-time hire for the right candidate. Flexible hours, $25-$30/hr. depending on experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Head of R&D and Scientists in producing and evaluating bench-top prototypes for customers.
• Prepare samples based to ensure they meet all desired specifications, quality, and safety standards.
• Process various R&D products using specialized R&D lab equipment.
• Maintain accurate and complete records, including laboratory notebooks, formula documents, and approval files.
• Provide technical support to R&D Scientists and collaborate with cross-functional teams to move formulas from development to production.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously under limited supervision.
• Support the receiving of ingredients and components while maintaining lab organization and inventory control.
• Review packaging and labels to ensure they match the established R&D standards.
• Review scientific information to maintain a working knowledge of industry trends.
• Create ingredient statements and Supplement/Nutrition Facts panels using software to ensure FDA compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the R&D team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent technical training OR Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a scientific field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• 0–6+ months of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams.
• Basic familiarity with R&D formulation or product development software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with internal teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to lab organization.

This is a part-time position with opportunity of full-time for the right candidate. Flexible hour, $25-$30/hr. depending on experience.
