A manufacturing company in Franklin County is in need of a Purchaser to join their team. This is a FT, 1st shift, long-term position with a reputable company. Pay starts around $25/hr + benefits.
*Must have previous purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing or a machine shop setting. Able to read and interpret blueprints, and is proficient with MS software.
The Purchaser is responsible for analyzing customer blueprints to identify required materials and internal shop processes. This position supports the production workflow by creating jobs, generating work travelers, and procuring necessary materials, parts, and services. The Purchaser ensures all purchases are made cost-effectively and accurately and supports internal teams in resolving material-related issues.
