Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated NTC 5-Axis Laser Operator Specialist whose primary responsibility is the setup and operation of NTC 5-axis laser systems. This is a hands-on role focused on production and program maintenance directly at the machine control.

Shift: 6:00am - 2:30/4:30pm, 6 hrs. on Saturday as needed.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00/hr. or more depending on experience

Core Responsibilities

• Manual Data Input (MDI) & Programming: Call up and modify CNC programs directly at the controller using G-code/M-code and NTC’s simplified coding processes.
• Machine Setup: Perform full setup of 3D workpieces, including aligning fixtures, selecting cutting tools, and verifying offsets.
• Live Adjustments: Use "Teach Mode" and interactive guidelines on the PC-based controller to generate or refine cutting paths in real-time.
• Quality & Maintenance: Measure workpieces for conformance using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers) and perform routine machine maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Specific Machine Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of recent, primary experience with NTC 5-Axis laser or machining equipment.
• Controller Proficiency: Must be able to call and edit programs and troubleshoot at the machine interface.
• Technical Reading: ability to read and interpret complex 2D/3D engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
