Commercial Lines Account Manager — Job Duties

• Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts across multiple lines of coverage

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing ongoing policy support and relationship management

• Prepare, review, and process policy endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and certificates of insurance

• Analyze client coverage needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions

• Market accounts to carriers and negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage options

• Coordinate with producers, underwriters, and carriers to ensure timely policy placement and renewals

• Ensure accuracy and compliance in policy documentation and carrier requirements

• Assist with claims reporting and follow-up as needed

• Maintain detailed and accurate client records within agency management systems

• Stay current on industry regulations, carrier guidelines, and coverage changes

• Provide excellent customer service while meeting agency performance and retention goals
