Salary: $26 hourly
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols to determine layout and assembly requirements
Fit, align, and assemble metal components using hand tools, clamps, and measuring instruments
Perform welding using MIG, TIG, and/or Stick processes on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys
Cut, grind, and prepare materials using torches, plasma cutters, and power tools
Ensure proper fit-up, weld quality, and dimensional accuracy prior to final welding
Inspect welds and assemblies for quality, strength, and compliance with specifications
Repair and rework defective welds or components as needed
Follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage and proper equipment handling
Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to meet production schedules
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
