The Powder Coater is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal parts using powder coating equipment to ensure high-quality, durable finishes that meet production and quality standards.
Prepare metal parts for coating (cleaning, sanding, masking, hanging)
Operate powder coating spray equipment and curing ovens
Apply powder coatings evenly according to specifications
Inspect finished products for quality, thickness, color, and defects
Recoat or touch up parts as needed
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Follow safety procedures and proper handling of materials
Meet production schedules and efficiency goals
Maintain a clean and organized work area
