The Sandblaster / Saw Operator is responsible for preparing materials by sandblasting surfaces and operating industrial saws to cut materials to specification. This role ensures parts meet quality, safety, and production standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, or prepare surfaces

• Set up and operate saws (band saw, chop saw, or similar) to cut materials accurately

• Measure and mark materials according to work orders and specifications

• Inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy

• Perform routine equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues

• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Assist with material handling, loading, and unloading as needed

• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet deadlines
