Operate and monitor groundwater wells, pumps, storage tanks, and treatment processes for the MUD water system.

Make routine rounds, read meters and gauges/SCADA, and adjust flows, pressures, and chemical feed rates as needed.

Collect water samples from wells, plant, and distribution system and perform required field tests (chlorine residual, pH, turbidity, etc.).

Maintain water quality within regulatory standards and assist with basic reporting as needed.

Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, valves, and chemical feed equipment.

Assist with distribution system work, including line flushing, valve exercising, and responding to leaks or service issues.

Current Texas groundwater operator license – minimum Class C (higher-level licenses strongly preferred and eligible for higher pay).

Experience operating public water systems (MUD, city, or similar environment).

Working knowledge of drinking water regulations, sampling, and reporting requirements.

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for pumps and related equipment.

Pay: Based on license level and experience (Class C starting at $20/hr; higher licenses commensurate with experience).

Schedule: Full-time; Monday–Friday day shift.
