TAX PREPARER - Experienced
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Preparer to join a busy and growing office in the Duluth, MN area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, helping clients, and being part of a professional office environment. 

This position is long-term and year-round, with a Monday through Friday schedule. Pay is based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual and small business tax returns
• Review financial records, income statements, and deductions
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax laws
• Communicate with clients to gather needed information
• Answer basic tax-related questions and provide support
• Maintain organized and confidential files
• Assist with other accounting or office tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous tax preparation or accounting experience
• Knowledge of tax laws, forms, and filing procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good computer skills (tax software and Microsoft Office)
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
