Truck Auditor / Inspector – Port Allen

Full Time – Evaluation Hire

$18 - 20/hr

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

 

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for a Truck Auditor / Inspector for a local client in Port Allen.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Perform detailed repair audits on completed service work to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
• Conduct physical inspections of trucks and equipment; document findings and follow up on required repairs.
• Review repair orders, technician notes, and service documentation for correctness and clarity.
• Collaborate with service technicians, parts departments, and management to resolve inconsistencies or missing information.
• Maintain organized digital records using relevant service management software.
• Communicate audit results, discrepancies, and action items effectively via email, reports, and in-person discussions.
• Assist service writers and managers with workflow coordination when needed.
• Support continuous improvement efforts for audit processes and service quality.
• HAVE A GREAT ATTITUDE
• Ability to grow and train for new roles. 

Experience needed 

• Experience in truck service, equipment inspection, service writing, or a related field preferred.
• Strong mechanical understanding of Semi-Trucks is a plus.
• Excellent computer skills, including experience with service software, email communication, and digital documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Close attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies in repair orders or inspections.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Customer-service mindset and team-oriented attitude.
