Schedule: Full-Time- 1st Shift 

About the Role

Express Pros–Akron is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to produce precision-machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery. This role supports consistent quality, safety standards, and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Operate programmed CNC machinery to load/unload materials and produce parts to design specifications
• Monitor machine feed and speed throughout the machining process
• Inspect items and report any quality concerns to management
• Inspect parts according to blueprints and quality guidelines
• Apply basic algebra and geometry concepts when required
• Monitor and maintain lubrication and coolant levels
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide your own basic hand tools and measuring tools
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Competencies

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong job responsibility and consistency
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Eagerness to learn various part setups and machine operations
• Reliable and regular attendance

Physical Requirements

This position regularly requires:

• Standing, walking, reaching, and using hands to handle or feel parts
• Occasional sitting
• Ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Clear close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

While performing this role, the employee will be:

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration
• Working in a loud production environment
