Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking using hand tools and abrasive equipment.
• Operate airless paint spraying equipment, ensuring even and efficient application of coatings.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and surface conditions prior to painting.
• Apply coatings with attention to detail, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
• Handle materials safely during transportation and storage within the warehouse or fabrication area.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly, fabrication, or finishing tasks within lean manufacturing processes.
• Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify coating thickness and surface quality.
• Assist in the setup and calibration of spray equipment for different project requirements.
• Follow all safety guidelines related to industrial painting, handling hazardous materials, and operating machinery.

Skills

• Proven experience in industrial painting, metal painting
• Proficiency with airless paint spraying techniques and use of power tools.
• Familiarity with hand tools such as sanders, grinders, brushes, and scrapers.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material mixing ratios.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork within diverse production environments
