CNC Machine Operator

Located in Alorton, IL

Salary: up to $23/hr, BOE

Job Summary: Looking to grow your career in precision manufacturing? We are looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join a growing team. Responsibilities include:

· Machine steel parts and rail according to specifications

· Read and interpret blueprints

· Use digital calipers to ensure accuracy

· Comply with all safety procedures

· Operate overhead cranes

Location: Alorton, IL
Position type: Full Time, Evaluation Hire
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm or 4pm-2:30am
Pay: $22/hr ($1 increase after 90 days and an additional $1 increase after 1 year)

Qualifications:

· Minimum 6 months machine operator experience, CNC Machine experience preferred

· Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision

· Ability to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy

· Ability to read and use tape measure

· Strong attention to detail with ability to inspect rail using measuring devices

· Must be quality oriented and a team player

· Complete understanding of safe work practices

· Ability to lift up to 35lbs repeatedly

· Comfortable standing for majority of the shift, kneel, squat and climb step multiple times

· Ability to hear and see parts as they are machined, looking/listening for deficiencies

· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and nonverbally

· Follow all safety procedures, policies and PPE requirements
