Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical aptitude and experience supporting facility operations. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of maintenance support experience
Relevant certifications required
Strong knowledge of Electrical, HVAC, Lighting, Plumbing, and Pneumatic systems
Thorough understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
Experience with mechanical and light electrical troubleshooting
Welding experience (MIG/Stick) and oxyacetylene cutting preferred
Ability to operate equipment such as cranes, hoists, forklifts, scissor/boom lifts, and common power tools
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment according to OEM standards
Complete daily work orders and PMs based on priority levels
Troubleshoot equipment, fixtures, and tooling to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate work order documentation within the maintenance management system
