 **REQUIREMENTS (PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING):**

1+ YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN TROUBLSHOOTING PLC systems that control kilns, mixers, conveyors, and other automated equipment used in production.

 Pay: $25/HR + OVERTIME

Schedule: 7pm-3:30am M-F (Will start as a day position for training purposes)

 Express Employment Professionals of Denton County is seeking a highly skilled PLC Electrician to join a local industrial manufacturing team in Denton, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems that support production. This role requires precision, dependability, and the ability to work safely in a heavy industrial environment.

 

Responsibilities

·       Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC systems controlling kilns, conveyors, mixers, and other production equipment.

·       Program and modify PLC logic (ladder logic, function blocks, etc.) to improve efficiency and product consistency.

·       Diagnose and repair electrical issues across motors, sensors, drives, and control panels.

·       Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and automation systems to reduce downtime.

·       Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

·       Collaborate with engineers, operators, and maintenance teams to resolve technical challenges.

Qualifications

·       Proven experience as an industrial electrician with PLC expertise.

·       Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting 

·       Ability to work independently and under pressure in a production environment.

·       Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·       Physical ability to work in confined spaces and varying weather conditions.
