Express Employment Professionals of Denton County is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Specialist. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in accounts payable, cash receipts, account reconciliations, and general accounting support. This role is perfect for someone who is comfortable working with financial data, has strong organizational skills, and enjoys being an integral part of daily accounting operations.

Pay: $20/HR

Schedule: M-F 8A-5P (2-3 month Temporary Role Only)

Key Responsibilities

• Process cash and credit card deposits accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconcile commission statements and ensure documentation accuracy
• Code, verify, and enter Accounts Payable (A/P) invoices
• Prepare and process weekly check runs
• Perform customer account reconciliations and research discrepancies
• Reconcile vendor and customer statements
• Process cash receipts for checks and electronic payments
• Create receipts in the Epic system
• Support direct bill reconciliation, as needed
• Provide general accounting and administrative support to the finance team

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of A/P, cash receipts, and reconciliation processes
• Experience working with financial data entry and high-volume transactions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or other versions such as AX or GP)
