Position Summary

We are a rapidly growing aluminum extrusion company in Megargel, TX, looking for a skilled Experienced Powder Coater to join our production team. The ideal candidate has hands-on industrial powder coating experience, strong attention to detail, reliable transportation, and exceptional attendance. This position offers long-term growth in a fast-expanding company.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply powder coating to aluminum extrusion products accurately and consistently.
• Set up, operate, and maintain powder coating booths, guns, ovens, and related equipment.
• Prepare and hang parts, ensure proper grounding, and monitor coating thickness.
• Inspect coated parts for quality, curing, adhesion, and color consistency.
• Make equipment adjustments to maintain production quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety requirements.
• Meet daily production goals and coordinate with supervisors and leads.
• Work 12-hour shifts with mandatory overtime, including weekends when required.

Requirements

• Must have previous powder coating experience (industrial or aluminum extrusion preferred).
• Working knowledge of powder prep, application, curing cycles, and defect recognition.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Megargel facility.
• Exceptional attendance — this role is vital to production flow.
• Must be able to work in a hot manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for 12 hours; lift 50–75 lbs when needed.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and desire to grow with the company.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
