Repair Tech and Yard Worker

Located in Tualatin, OR

Salary: $20.00/ hour

A client of ours in Tualatin is looking to add a Repair and Rental Clerk to their team. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is motivated, and willing to learn and grow within the company. In this position, you will be repairing, shipping, and hauling rental equipment. 

This is an evaluation to hire position.

Duties: 

• Pulling product for will call pick up or for shipping.
• Pull product and inspect and repair as needed.
• Receive pull blocks after rental, check them for damages or missing parts, replenish and prepare for next rental. Items that need repainted, document and send for repair.
• Unloads trucks w/ a forklift or by hand & helps put items in the correct locations
• Checking fiberglass stick poles replacing any damaged parts and when needed refinish the poles but sanding the paint down and then repainting the pole by hand.
• Keep the work area, clean, organized and tidy. Keep all debris and floor clear of walkways.
• Assembles ground sets & cables
• Painting equipment, wearing a suit, dust mask if needed and painting equipment.
• Use a grinder and then spray paint metal poles. 
• This position is working a lot OUTSIDE, must be okay with this.
• Perform additional duties as assigned

 Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Basic Math & Communication skills
• HS or GED
• 1-3 Year of Warehouse/Forklift experience (Will train)
• Attentive listener & communicator
• Attention to detail
• Operate under short timeframes/deadlines
• Willing to show up & learn
• Common sense
• Physical Requirements: 
  • Lifting up to 50lbs
  • Balancing, Climbing, Crawling, Crouching, Kneeling, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Squatting, Standing the majority of the time, Stooping, Walking

Pay: $20.00/hr.

Schedule: 

• 2 options: 7:30-4 or 8-4:30 pm, 30-minute lunch
• Scheduled/Unscheduled OT
