Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a confidential healthcare and recovery services organization in Davie, FL to hire an experienced Admissions Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone with a strong healthcare intake or admissions background who thrives in a fast-paced, phone-driven environment.

This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity, with the potential for long-term internal placement based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls related to admissions and intake

• Conduct initial client screenings and gather required intake information

• Verify insurance benefits, complete benefit checks, and assist with prior authorizations

• Coordinate admissions and referrals across appropriate levels of care

• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, families, and referral sources

• Document all interactions accurately in internal systems

• Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to support admissions flow

Preferred Background & Experience

• Prior admissions or intake experience in medical, substance use, or behavioral health settings

• Experience as an Admissions Coordinator, Intake Specialist, Case Manager, BHT, Patient Access, or Patient Services Representative

• Background in medical sales or healthcare call centers with consultative phone work

• Strong phone presence with experience managing high-volume calls

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Insurance verification

  • Benefit checks

  • Prior authorizations

  • Intake coordination

• Familiarity with treatment center workflows, levels of care, and referral coordination (preferred)

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
