Express Employment Professionals – Fort Lauderdale is partnering with a well-established waterworks and utility supply distributor in Pompano Beach to hire a Counter Sales Representative. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with strong potential to convert to a long-term position based on performance.

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

• Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Location: Pompano Beach, FL

• Pay Rate: $20–$23 per hour (based on experience)

• Employment Type: Evaluation hire through Express Employment Professionals

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter with product selection, pricing, and order processing

• Provide excellent customer service to contractors, municipalities, and walk-in customers

• Enter orders accurately into the system and process transactions

• Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely order fulfillment

• Answer phone inquiries and assist with basic product questions

• Maintain a clean, organized counter and showroom area

Qualifications

• Prior counter sales, inside sales, or customer service experience preferred

• Experience in plumbing, waterworks, construction, or industrial supplies is a plus

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable using computers and order-entry systems

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
