Our client is seeking at Lab Technician. This role supports product quality and compliance by conducting laboratory testing on finished goods and components. This role ensures materials meet defined specifications while following all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Work is performed with a strong emphasis on accuracy, documentation, and safe laboratory practices.
Key Responsibilities
The following duties reflect the primary functions of the role and may include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct quality checks across production, packaging, and warehouse operations, including pre-operation, in-process, and final inspections
- Prepare, operate, and calibrate analytical instruments such as HPLC and GC systems
- Collect, record, and enter batch test data for customer products into required tracking systems
- Analyze quality results and communicate findings, trends, and concerns to QA leadership
- Perform physical and analytical testing using laboratory instruments
- Independently monitor laboratory activities to confirm adherence to company procedures and quality standards
- Identify and communicate deviations from approved processes or specifications
- Work autonomously in a laboratory environment, including issuing batch documentation and making batch adjustments based on test data
- Maintain accurate, well-organized QA records and manage retained sample inventory
- Support compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety, and customer requirements
- Perform Quality Line Inspector duties when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas using good housekeeping practices
- Complete additional job-related tasks as assigned
- Maintain consistent and dependable attendance
Qualifications Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of experience in a manufacturing or production laboratory or
- Bachelor’s degree in a physical science
- Prior experience with HPLC and/or GC instrumentation is strongly preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Strong basic math and analytical problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Familiarity with standard laboratory practices and procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods in hot or cold environments
- Must meet OSHA respirator clearance requirements
- Availability to work rotating shifts as scheduled
