Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring a Tooling Department Technician for a manufacturing company located in Everett, WA. Starting pay is $25 per hour. This is a full-time, evaluation-to-hire position on a day shift during training, transitioning to night shift after 2–3 months.

The training schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. After training, the schedule moves to the Pitman night shift (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) working 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 2 off, etc.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Working in the Tooling Department with strong mechanical aptitude; training provided to become a machinist over time
• Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift
• Assembling and disassembling dies and machine parts for cleaning
• Staging machine parts using a hydraulic cart for machine operators
• Willingness to be redeployed to other departments as needed
• Cleaning extrusion dies, calibration tools, inserts, and related components
• Removing buildup and residue from tooling
• Drying, staging, and labeling cleaned tooling
• Cleaning machine parts, screws, plates, and components
• Preparing tooling carts and organizing cleaned parts
• Maintaining inventory of tooling components and cleaning supplies
