Shop Foreman

Express Employment Professionals are seeking an experienced and dependable Shop Foreman to lead operations within our trailer repair facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing technicians, and the ability to maintain efficient workflow while ensuring all repairs meet quality and safety standards. Prior experience in trailer repair, fleet maintenance, or heavy-duty shop supervision is preferred.

Pay

$22.00-$30.00/Hour DOE

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support shop technicians in daily repair and maintenance tasks
Manage repair schedules, assign work orders, and monitor workflow efficiency
Ensure repairs are completed accurately and on time
Oversee quality control and safety compliance within the shop
Troubleshoot issues and provide technical guidance as needed
Communicate effectively with management, technicians, and customers
Maintain a clean, organized, and productive shop environment
Assist with training, development, and performance support for team members

Qualifications

Previous experience in trailer repair, fleet maintenance, or heavy-duty equipment preferred
Proven leadership and supervisory skills
Strong understanding of shop operations, workflow planning, and safety standards
Ability to diagnose repair needs and guide technicians
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Reliability, professionalism, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
