Pay: $38-$42/hr
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rheumatology Infusion Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Rheumatology Infusion Nurse, you will be responsible for administering infusion treatments to patients with rheumatic diseases in a clinic setting. #EXPHC
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients' health status and treatment needs
- Administer intravenous (IV) infusions and injections according to established protocols and orders
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adverse reactions to treatment, and take appropriate actions when necessary
- Educate patients and their families on medication administration, self-care, and symptom management
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment plans
- Comply with all federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies
Requirements:
- Active registered nursing license in the state of employment
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in infusion therapy, preferably in a rheumatology clinic setting
- Strong knowledge of rheumatic diseases and their treatment
- Ability to independently administer complex infusion therapies, such as biologic agents and immunosuppressive drugs
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
