Litigation Paralegal
Location: Downtown Charleston, SC
Salary: $45,000–$65,000 (depending on experience)
Schedule: In-office

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of the litigation process. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing a high-volume caseload with strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, organize, and manage litigation documents and case files
• Assist with all stages of the litigation process, including trial preparation
• Maintain case calendars and ensure deadlines are met
• Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and external parties
• Work collaboratively as part of a fast-paced legal team

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of the litigation process
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
• Trial experience preferred
• Prior experience with an insurance defense law firm preferred
• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
• Minimum of three years of paralegal experience preferred
