Salary: $16 - $40/hr

We’re partnering with a well-established residential construction company in the Champaign area to hire an experienced Trim and Cabinet Carpenter. This role is ideal for a skilled finish carpenter who takes pride in clean, precise work and understands residential construction standards from framing through final install.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Install residential trim, cabinetry, and finish carpentry with a high level of accuracy and detail

• Perform framing and general carpentry work as needed

• Read and interpret plans, layouts, and measurements

• Ensure all work meets residential building codes and quality standards

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite

• Communicate effectively with homeowners, teammates, and supervisors

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on residential or commercial carpentry experience

• Proven trim carpentry and cabinet installation experience

• Framing experience

• Strong knowledge of residential building codes

• Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate layout and measurements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor including bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and quality control

• Professional attitude and solid interpersonal skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience working directly in occupied residential environments

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Tools & Equipment:

• Company-provided tools and equipment

• Use of hand and power tools including saws, nail guns, measuring tools, and ladders

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time, day shift

• Local residential job sites in the Champaign area
