We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC lathes and a strong understanding of machining processes. This role is essential for producing high-quality components that meet our stringent specifications. The CNC Lathe Operator will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient and accurate fabrication of parts.

**Must have 3-4 years experience as a CNC Lathe Operator**

Duties

• Operate CNC lathes to fabricate precision components according to engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine machining requirements.
• Set up and adjust machine tools, including Mazatrol controls, to achieve desired tolerances.
• Monitor the machining process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
• Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments to inspect finished products for accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to implement Lean manufacturing principles for improved efficiency.
• Safely operate forklifts for material handling as needed within the production area.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator with a valid reference
• Proficiency in CAD software and the ability to read technical drawings.
• Familiarity with milling machines and basic math skills for precise measurements.
• Experience with Mazatrol programming is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing practices is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely.
• Forklift certification is desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
