Salary: $16 - $ 40/hr

We are hiring an HVAC Service Technician to join our service team. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, customer interaction, and steady year-round work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Perform low and high voltage electrical troubleshooting
• Handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA standards
• Complete preventative maintenance and service calls
• Sell and install indoor air quality (IAQ) products when appropriate
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of hands-on HVAC service experience 
• Active EPA 608 certification 
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (low and high voltage)
• Ability to diagnose systems independently and complete repairs correctly the first time
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass background and pre-employment screening

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and confined spaces
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to climb ladders, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods

Tools & Equipment

• Company-provided tools and service vehicle (for qualifying positions)
• Use of standard HVAC hand tools, meters, gauges, recovery machines, and ladders

Schedule & Travel
Full-time, year-round employment
Local daily travel within the Champaign–Urbana area
After-hours/on-call rotation required
