Job Description

The Tool Maintenance Technician supports production operations by maintaining, repairing, and servicing tooling and equipment used in thermoplastic injection molding. This role works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Plant Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Essential Responsibilities

• Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor and Plant Manager

• Remove, replace, and repair broken machinery parts

• Disassemble, clean, and perform routine maintenance on thermoplastic injection molds

• Perform mold polishing, stoning burrs, and general mold upkeep as needed

• Troubleshoot equipment with pneumatic and hydraulic controls

• Assist Mold Setters as required

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience working with thermoplastic injection molds, including disassembly, cleaning, maintenance, polishing, and stoning burrs

• General computer knowledge

• Industrial maintenance experience preferred

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Training & Validation

• General maintenance experience

• Knowledge of production procedures, forms, and schedules
